Magic Kingdom

When you think about Disney World the image that pops into most peoples mind is the Magic Kingdom. This is Disney World’s largest and most popular theme park with all the them park rides and Cinderella’s Castle. If you are going to Disney World you have to visit this magical theme park.

Epcot

The name EPCOT is a synonym for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, and if you or your family members are into history, culture, and/or science then you are going to love this theme park. Epcot is broken out into 2 major sections the Future World and the World Showcase. Epcot is a great theme park for all ages and if you are going to visit don’t miss the nightly fireworks display they are AWESOME!

Animal Kingdom

A few years ago Disney executives came up with a slogan for Animal Kingdom “Not-A-ZOOO”. Well this is only partly true, Animal Kingdom is similar to a zoo in that you can see zebras, giraffes, tigers, and many other exotic animals, but Animal Kingdom has so much more to offer than just being a zoo.

Hollywood Studios

This is not a new theme park just a new name, in January of 2008 Disney changed the name of this park from MGM Studios to Hollywood Studios. If you love Disney movies or the Disney channel then you are going to love this theme park. It gives the visitors a glimpse into the back stage props of many popular Disney movies, shows how stunts are performed in the new show “Lights, Camera, Action”, and it even has a few popular thrill rides as well.

Downtown Disney

The downtown Disney area is a free venue to visit and it the home of many popular restaurants such as: Fulton’s Crab House, Wolf Gang Pucks Restaurant, and Planet Hollywood. Downtown Disney is a great place to spend your afternoons or nights walking around the beautiful lake, eating at the many great restaurants, and shopping.

Water Parks & Recreational Activities

There is an old saying if there is something worth doing it is worth doing well. This phrase is so true when you are talking about the two major water parks at Disney World. Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are rated the number 1 and the number 2 water parks in the entire world, when you couple this with the hot weather we usually have in Orlando there is no wonder these two water parks are so popular.
