Wildlife Express to Rafiki's Planet Watch

A short train ride takes you partway through the 100-acre savanna, where you’ll catch glimpses of some of the same animals you’ll see on the Kilimanjaro Safaris. Your destination is Rafiki's Planet Watch. As you ride the train, keep your camera handy as there are some excellent photo opportunities along the way including a look behind-the-scenes of the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction. The round-trip train ride to and from Conservation Station is 1.2 miles long.

Rafiki's Planet Watch

Rafiki's Planet Watch is small area of Disney's Animal Kingdom dedicated to the care and treatment of many of the animals in the park. The centerpiece of Rafiki's Planet Watch is Conservation Station which houses exhibits and displays about the animals. Of special note is the opportunity to look in on the vetinarian care of animals as operations are performed within guest view. There's also Song of the Rainforest, which is a 3-D sound experience that is very impressive. Visitors may control in-park cameras to get views of the park's creatures.
