Character Breakfast at Walt Disney World

Orlandovacation.com stopped selling Disney World character breakfast tickets in December of 2005. They were immensely popular; however, our clients could not make a reservation for the character breakfast of their choice until they received our tickets in the mail. Often times our clients would miss out on their first two Character Breakfast choices because they had to wait on our tickets to make the reservations. So now, in practicing good customer service, we suggest all our clients order the Breakfast Certificates directly from Disney themselves.

Brief Description of Disney World Character Breakfasts:

Cinderella’s Royal Table- Very Popular, we suggest making reservations at this character breakfast at least 3 months prior to your arrival. The breakfast takes place at Cinderella’s Castel in the Magic Kingdom.

Cost - adults and children

Characters- Cinderella and friends like Snow White and Belle

Theme- Medieval Banquet

Featured items to eat - French toast, eggs, bacon, fruit and Danishes for dessert

Tips- We suggest requesting a table by the window for a prime view.

Restaurantosaurus- Semi-popular, we suggest making reservations at this a month and a half prior to your arrival. The breakfast takes place at the Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Cost -  for adults and for children

Characters- Donald Duck, Pluto, and Goofy

Theme- Paleontologist hangout

Featured Items to eat- Pancakes, French Toast, eggs, breakfast burritos, frittata, sausage, grits, cereal, fresh fruit and muffins for dessert.

Tips- This is the best place to find Donald Duck. This breakfast is a lot of fun but beware of the prankster waiters.

Chef Mickey’s- Many experts agree that this is the best all around character breakfast, and again we suggest making reservations at least 3 months prior to your arrival. The breakfast takes place at the Contemporary Resort.

Cost - for adults and for children

Characters- Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald (at lunch), Pluto, Chip and Dale

Theme- Party Central

Featured Items to eat- Eggs, Frittata, pancakes, Mickey waffles, fruit, cereal, and make your own cupcakes for dessert.

Tips- The party break happens every 45 minutes. Be sure to stick around for at least one celebration.

1900 Park Fare- This character breakfast has the fanciest foods of all the character breakfast.

Cost - for adults and for children

Characters- Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland

Theme- Turn of the Century Circus

Featured Items to eat- Pancakes, eggs, waffles, and sticky buns for dessert.

Tips- Breakfast here is a nice way to start a Magic Kingdom day. The park is just one monorail stop away.

Ohana- This is the shortest character breakfast lasting only about 30 total minutes and they also have the speediest service. This is often times families second choice if they cannot get tickets to Chef Mickey’s.

Cost - for adults and for children

Characters- Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale

Theme- Tropical hut

Featured items to eat- Mickey waffles, eggs, biscuits, fruit, bacon, and sweet pineapple bread for dessert.

Tips- Don’t forget your autograph book and camera. The characters spend a good amount of quality times at each table.

Akershus- This is similar to Ohana in that this is often the second choice of families who could not get tickets to Cinderella’s Royal Table. This is the only table service breakfast option at EPCOT.

Cost -  for adults and for children

Characters- Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Mulan

Theme- 14th century Norwegian castle

Featured items to eat- scrambled eggs, potato casseroles, French toast sticks, bacon, sausage, fruit and Danish pastries for dessert.

Cape May Café- This is actually a pretty fun character breakfast, especially if you are going to be going to EPCOT for a day.

Cost - per adult and per child

Characters- Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale

Theme- Seaside Picnic

Featured items to eat- eggs, French toast sticks, pancakes, sausage, fruit, cereal, grits and cheese crepes for dessert.

Tips- This is the best character breakfast to visit to get a chance of getting a table without priority seating.
