Hollywood Studios has a couple of major thrill rides, two stunt shows, three daily parades, and many other exciting attractions. Below we have divided the park into 6 sections (Hollywood Blvd. Sunset Blvd, Echo Lake, Animation Courtyard, Mickey Ave, and Commissary Lane) and we have listed the attractions in each one of these sections. To learn more about these attractions simply click on the name of the attraction.

There are not many thrill rides at Hollywood Studios. This theme park entertaining as it takes you back in time to see the back stage sets and props of some of Disney’s most famous movies. One attraction you will not want to miss is the Lights, Camera, Action…this show is really cool.

Hollywood Blvd.

• The Great Movie Ride - Remember the Muppets? Kermit, Mrs. Piggy and Gonzo. This attraction takes you back a few years as they come back on stage to entertain you once again. This is a 3-D attraction.

 

 

 

Sunset Blvd.

• Twilight Zone Tower of Terror - One of the major thrill rides in all of Disney. It's a different experience everytime.
• Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith - Go from 0 to 60 in less than 3 seconds. This roller coaster ride simulates a high speed trip through the streets of L.A.

Echo Lake

• Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey - One of Disney’s new attractions starring Jim Carey
• Star Tours - This Star Wars flight simulator transports guests into another World.

Animation Courtyard

• The Magic of Disney Animation - Theater presentation about the making of a Disney film followed by interactive exhibits.
• Voyage of The Little Mermaid - Continuously running theater attraction featuring live puppetry and creative special effects.

Mickey Ave

• Walt Disney: One Man's Dream - This exhibit portraits Walt himself and the dream he had for Disney World.
• MGM Backlot Tour - A slow moving tram ride past famous movie props with a glimpse on how special effects are created they have also added Lights, Camera, Action which also portraits has stunts and special effects are created.

Streets of America/Comissary Lane

• Muppet Vision 3-D - Miss Piggy stars in this funny Muppet 3 –D movie
• Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure - 11,000 square foot theater with elaborate children’s playground themed as if guests are a quarter of an inch tall.
• American Film Institute Showcase - Exhibit displaying movie props and costumes from years past. Adults and seniors really like this display.

There are also some major live shows in Disney-MGM Studios:

• Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage - This attraction features a live musical performance of the songs and story of the hit Disney film Beauty and the Beast.
• Fantasmic! - Breathtaking nighttime show featuring pyrotechnics, lasers, fountains and a huge cast of Disney characters.
• Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular - See Indiana Jones back stage and howstuntmen perform famous scenes from the Indiana Jones trilogy.
• Playhouse Disney - Live! - This show is great for young children, starring all the characters you see on the Disney Channel
• Lights, Motors, Action! - This high action show features impressive car and motorcycle stunts. Only shown twice a day but one of the real highlights at Hollywood Studios.
