It’s been called the “happiest cruise that’s ever sailed,” and contains the most famous (or infamous) theme song of any Disney attraction. Guests ride in boats for a musical voyage through the world complete with hundreds of singing dolls and dancing animals. During the ride, be sure to look upward as well as to the sides because there are exciting and adorable things happening all around you.

There is no height requirement for this ride.

It's a Small World has realtively short lines all throughout the day and is a great attraction to visit in the middle of the day when it's hottest and lines are at their longest.

Disney Facts

• The unique graphic style of the attraction comes from the talented artist Mary Blair, who worked as an art director on the ride. She also designed the large mosaic inside the Contemporary Hotel, which is visible from the Monorail.
• Originally, the designers had the idea of using the different national anthems from all the countries in the ride. Unfortunately, this created a complete sound cacophony and so the Sherman Brothers were asked to compose an original theme song.
• The original version of this attraction premiered at the New York 1964-1965 World's Fair.
