Mad Tea Party (The Teacups)

Inspired by Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, this ride is virtually guaranteed to make you totally dizzy. It’s the type of ride that most kids love, but that’s suitable for anyone who has the stomach for it. Guests sit in oversized teacups that spin around each other. At the same time, individual guests can make their own teacup spin around its own axis.

ages 2-4	If riding with small kids, you can always just not spin your cup and enjoy a more relaxing version of the ride.
ages 5-10	Kids love riding and spinning the cup as furiously as possible
ages 11-15	Pre-teens and teens love riding and spinning the cup as furiously as possible.
ages 16-adult	Considering the attraction is similar to those found at amusement parks, many adults have little interest.

When to Go

The Mad Tea Party rarely attracts huge lines but should be avoided between 12:00 p.m and 3:30 p.m.

• Watch the center teapot and occasionally you'll get a glimpse of the Doormouse.
• The topiaries around the Mad Tea Party are in the shape of several of the Alice in Wonderland characters.
