Voyage of the Little Mermaid is an extremely innovative live show that features costumed characters and unique life-size puppets, along with special effects. Scenes from the animated Disney movie, The Little Mermaid, are re-created. You'll also hear three songs from the film, "Under the Sea," "Part of Your World," and "Poor Unfortunate Souls."

There is no height requirement for this ride.

 

Age: Attraction Review:
ages 2-4 Some young kids may be frightened by loud sounds and large Ursula puppet.
ages 5-15 This show is excellent, especially for fans of the film.
ages 16-seniors This show is really targeted for younger children; however, if you like the film the Little Mermaid you will like this attraction.
   

When to Go

Voyage of the Little Mermaid attractions long lines as is best seen before 11:30 a.m or after 5:00 p.m.

FASTPASS

FASTPASS is available and is the best choice if you are not planning on visiting the thrill rides (Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Roller Coaster). Grab a FASTPASS early as they sometimes stop distributing them by early afternoon. This is a show so there is no reason to get a fastpass to see this show.

Disney Facts

  • The show has been slightly shortened over the years, mostly trimming some dialogue.
  • One of the actresses who played Ariel went onto become a Miss America pageant winner.
